Chapter members are united by our belief in grassroots democracy and social and environmental justice and by our determination to protect Canada’s independence. We believe in Canada and want to make it even better.
Our chapter supports the national campaigns of the Council of Canadians and also collaborates on local issues with other progressive groups whose goals are compatible with ours. For example, we’ve worked with Canadians Advocating Political Participation (CAPP), Save Our Rivers, the BC Health Coalition, Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Gateway Sucks, and the Western Canada Wilderness Committee.
Chapter members gather for educational or working meetings as the issues require. Check this site for information on up-coming meetings.
